Yesterday, Sunday, the Arab Parliament announced moves to document the genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, and to present them to international bodies.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, said in a statement, “A joint committee was formed from the Arab Parliament and the Egyptian House of Representatives (HoR) to document the crimes of the Israeli occupation and to move in the name of the Arab people at all regional and international levels to provide documentary reports and evidence of inhumane crimes, and to begin presenting them.” To the competent authorities, led by the UN Security Council, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the Human Rights Council, to hold the perpetrators accountable.”

Al-Asomi pointed out that "the response will be through a unified Arab parliamentary vision to confront the brutal attacks on civilians, the attacks on hospitals and schools, and the continuous bombing that left thousands of martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children," expressing his astonishment at the international silence and the absence of global humanitarian conscience.
