A high-level delegation from the General Secretariat of the Arab League (AL), headed by Ambassador Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General, will head to Sudan Capital, Khartoum.
The delegation's visit aims to contribute to addressing the political crisis in Sudan, in accordance with AL Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit directives.
The delegation is set to meet with Sudanese leaders from the various components, in order to back efforts to overcome the current political crisis, in light of the signed agreements governing the transitional period, in a way that realizes the Sudanese people's aspirations towards peace, development, and stability.
