The Council of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers renewed its strong condemnation of Iranian attacks targeting several Arab countries, describing them as a serious violation of sovereignty and a threat to regional security.

In a statement issued after its ministerial meeting, chaired by Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the council said the attacks involved ballistic missiles and drones targeting residential areas, vital infrastructure, and civilian facilities, including energy sites, airports, and diplomatic premises.

The council affirmed full solidarity with the affected countries, including Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq, and stressed that Arab national security is indivisible. It also confirmed the right of these states to defend themselves, individually or collectively, in line with international law.

The statement described the attacks as a violation of international law, the UN Charter, and principles of good neighborliness, calling for respect for the sovereignty and stability of Arab states.
