The fourth edition of the Arab Innovation and Investment Forum opened Monday at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers to promote sustainable, knowledge-based growth across the region.
Ambassador Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Maliki, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Economic Affairs Sector at the Arab League, took part in the opening session held under the theme “Toward an Innovative Arab Investment Ecosystem for Promising Opportunities.”
Organized by the Arab League’s Economic Affairs Sector in cooperation with the “Youth Can” Foundation for Sustainable Development, the forum is supported by several Egyptian ministries and regional institutions.
In his opening remarks, Al-Maliki stressed that innovation and entrepreneurship have become central pillars for economic and social development in Arab countries, particularly amid current regional and global challenges.
The forum serves as a regional platform to connect startups with investors, highlight youth-driven innovation, and advance responsible investment and regional economic integration.
