The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States is hosting the 90th session of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction at the ministerial level on October 22–23, 2025, at the League’s headquarters in Cairo.
The meeting brings together member states of the Executive Bureau, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Iraq, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the Union of the Comoros, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Kingdom of Morocco.
Ministers will discuss several key issues on the agenda, notably the latest preparations for the Sixth Arab Ministerial Forum on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development, to be held in Doha, Qatar, from December 14 to 16, 2025, under the theme “Urban Sustainability… for the Future of Generations.”
The meeting will also address the selection of the theme for Arab Housing Day 2026 and explore areas of cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
