Many Arab celebrities declared their COVID-19 infections amid the climax of the COVID-19 second wave in Egypt.
Actress Bassant Shawky, actor Mohamed Farrag's fiance, announced her COVID-19 infection on Wednesday. She expressed on her Facebook account, "Unfortunately, my COVID-19 test result is positive."
She added, "I have no symptoms but I wish everyone who contacted me directly to take care."
Finally, she apologized if she contacted anyone directly during her infection.
TV presenter Ayat Abaza also announced her COVID-19 infection alongside five members of her family. Abaza is scriptwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin's wife.
Moreover, actress Koky Magdy, Ruby's sister, declared her COVID-19 infection today on her Facebook account.
Actress and TV Presenter Dana Hamdan, Mais Hamdan's & May Selim's sister, announced that she contracted COVID-19.
It is worthy to mention that actress Mais Hamdan contracted COVID-19 a few days ago.
Furthermore, TV presenter Lamyaa Fahmy Abdel Hamid expressed that she was infected by COVID-19 on Tuesday.
It is worthy to mention that Egypt is still witnessing a high rise in COVID-19 cases as 544 new infections were recorded yesterday.
