The Royal Spanish Football Federation has officially announced that the 2025/2026 Copa del Rey final will be held on Saturday, April 18.
Four clubs remain in contention for a place in the prestigious final: FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, and Real Sociedad.
The final will take place at La Cartuja Stadium, home of Sevilla FC, in Seville. Kick-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM Cairo time (11:00 PM Mecca time).
The semi-final first legs delivered excitement and notable results. Real Sociedad secured a 1-0 away victory over Athletic Bilbao.
Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid stunned Barcelona with a commanding 4-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
The result marked a major surprise, as it was Barcelona’s first defeat to Atlético Madrid in several years. It was also the first time the Catalan side failed to score under head coach Hans-Dieter Flick.
The return legs are expected to determine which two sides will advance to compete for one of Spain’s most prestigious domestic trophies.
