CAIRO, Mar. 6 (SEE)- The Antiquities Ministry provided new services for visitors at archaeological sites in Giza Plateau to enhance the visitors' experience.
Ayman Saeed, assistant of the minister of antiquities for the Development of Archaeological Sites, explained that the new service came within the framework of a cooperation protocol signed between the ministry and the National Bank of Egypt to develop a number of archaeological sites in Egypt.
The protocol also included other sites such as Abu Simbel, Philae and Karnak temples as well as Dahsour and Saqqara archaeological sites.
He continued, booths, including a front desk, sun shades, and benches as well as power enhancement to charge mobiles and cameras, were installed in different areas in the plateau.
The front desk has inspectors to help and assist visitors of the plateau if required in addition to guiding them.
He pointed out that guiding panels, and signboards were also installed to improve the presentation of the archaeological site in cooperation with the National Bank of Egypt and the UNESCO Office in Cairo, in coordination with the Service Development and Financial Resources Development Department of the ministry.
