On Friday, US President Joe Biden said that there is potentially a chance for another meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The meeting could take place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Francisco, next month.
Biden told reporters: “There has been no such meeting set up, but it is a possibility."
The upcoming meeting will be the first one between both leaders since their meeting last November during the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia.
Earlier, the White House expressed its wishes to see another meeting between the two leaders, asserting that the US administration has been working to reach an agreement with the Chinese for another meeting.
