The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Thursday’s daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast and South Upper Egypt to experience extremely hot conditions.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Dusty winds will occur occasionally in South Sinai and the far west of the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height, with northeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 30°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 34°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
Meteorologists also reveal that the country will experience a rise in temperatures starting Friday, with a severe heat wave sweeping across most parts of the country.
