Angham Dishes on Her Collaboration with Turki Al-Sheikh

Superstar, Angham dished on her new collaboration with the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh.

The new track marks the second collaboration between the pair, which will be featured in her upcoming Khaliji (Gulf) album “Mazg”.

"I am optimistic to work with him because the song is different arriving from him as a poet, for me as well," Angham said in a televised statement on Sunday.

On June 28, the superstar announced that she is collaborating once again with Al-Sheikh.

“A new and different production that brings me with poet #Turki _Al_Al-Sheikh, which is always unique. I am happy with my second collaboration with you and won’t be the last, God willing.” Angham tweeted on Twitter.

They collaborated for the first time in the 2018 song “Bakhaf Afrah”, which was composed by Khaled Ezz.

On the other hand, Angham is scheduled to perform live at Al Manara Center Theater, in the Fifth Settlement, on October 9, which is her first outdoor concert in Egypt after the Coronavirus outbreak.

It is worth mentioning that Angham, born on January 19, 1972, is an Egyptian singer, record producer, and actress.

She sang as a child, heralding the birth of a new musical generation. The superstar made her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father, prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Aly Suleiman.

Angham performed in public during Cairo’s Radio syndicate ceremony for the first time, as they were looking for new voices to artistically adopt them.

The star has released several albums the first of which was released in 1987. Her hit song called “La Lei Lei La Lei” has brought her much fame.

Angham’s fame in the entertainment industry has led her to experiment with other forms of media, such as film-making.

The star had made her acting debut in the 2013 TV series “Fe Ghamdet Ein” co-starring actress Dalia El Behery.

She is considered to be one of the most successful vocal female singers in Egypt and the Middle East.
