Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the signing of experienced left-back Andrew Robertson, confirming the deal via their website and official X account.
The 32-year-old defender joins Spurs on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expired and was not renewed.
Robertson leaves Liverpool after a highly successful nine-year spell at Anfield, during which he made 378 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 69 assists. He was a key figure in Liverpool’s defensive line and played a major role in their domestic and European successes.
Before joining Liverpool, Robertson previously played for Hull City, Dundee United, and Queen’s Park, steadily rising through the ranks of British football to become one of the Premier League’s most consistent full-backs.
