Amy Samir Ghanem Makes 1st Public Appearance after Parents Death

On Thursday, Egyptian actress, Amy Samir Ghanem made her first public appearance since the death of her parents, veteran stars Samir Ghanem and Dalal Abdel Aziz.

The actress and her sister Doina attended the 2022 edition of the Joy Awards, which were hosted as part of the entertainment events of the Riyadh season 2021.

The late stars were honored during the awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony is one of Saudi Arabia's biggest celebrations of the year and celebrates the work of the Arab world’s biggest stars in the fields of acting, artistic works, and music.

The event is held under the auspices of Turki Al Sheikh, the Royal Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Entertainment.

The ceremony was attended by many A-listers celebrities and several public figures, including John Travolta, Amr Adib, Nelly Karim, Ahlam, Nancy Ajram, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Assala, Wafaa Al Kilani, Amina Khalil, Yasmin Raeis, Dina El-Sherbiny, Mohamed Henedy, Walid Toufic, Kadim Al Sahir, and Hany Ramzy.
