Amry Farouk to Appear at ONTV with Shobeir Tonight

Tonight, El Ahly board of directors member Amry Farouk will appear on the TV program ON field with renowned anchor and football legend Ahmed Shobeir.

In his dialogue, Farouk will reveal his proposals for the return of sporting activities in Egypt, and how Al-Ahly plans to face the challenges of the new Coronavirus, in addition to the future of construction inside the Red Castle and other public issues, such as the dispute with Sayed Abdel Hafeez, and his relationship with  Mahmoud Al-Khatib.

Farouk is one of the board members of Al Ahly. He served as the secretary-general of the Association of Private Schools (APS) in Egypt.

He was appointed minister of state for sports on 2 August 2012. He was one of the independent ministers serving in the cabinet.

Shortly after his appointment, Farouk fired the Egyptian Football Association's executive committee members and appointed a new board to run the federation. On 2 July 2013.

He resigned from office due to mass demonstrations in the country.
