Egyptian actor Amr Saad has wrapped shooting of his next film "The Goat".
Saad finished his shooting the final scenes of his first international movie in the Siwa desert.
"The Goat", also stars American Mira Sorvino, is written and directed by Ilaria Borelli.
The project is a co-production between Egypt, America, France, and Italy.
The movie focuses on many important societal issues, most notably child marriage and exposing fraudulent mineral water companies.
"The Goat" is centered around a girl who is forced to get married. She flees to the desert on a 7-day journey by goats to save the only water spring in her village from a Canadian multinational company.
On the other hand, Saad will participate in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon with the TV series “Al Aghar”.
The series is scripted by Melouk workshop, directed by Yasser Samy, and produced by Anwar Al-Sabah.
Saad participated last Ramadan with the TV series “ Touba “.
It also starred Maged El Masry, Asma Abulyazeid, Saba Mubarak, Diab, Mohamed Lotfy, Entessar, and others.
The series is scripted by Melouk workshop, directed by Ahmed Saleh, and produced by Cedars Art Production.
“Touba” was based on the 1981 film “Al-Mashbouh” (The Suspect), starring Adel Imam, Soad Hosny, Farouk Al-Fishawy, and Said Saleh.
Directed by Samir Seif, the film followed Maher, a professional thief, who meets Bata, while he is robbing a house.
