Egyptian actor Amir Karara is teaming up with acclaimed director Ahmed El Gendy on his next film.
While specific details on the upcoming project remain under wraps, the pic is set to begin shooting under the title "Al Shater" in September.
Karara made his last aappearance on the big screen in the 2023 film "Baebae" (The Bogeyman).
It also stars Yasmine Sabri, Basem Samra, Mohamed Abdul Rahman Tota, Mohamed Anwar, Abbas Awal Al-Hassan, and more.
The film is scripted by Ihab Blaybel, directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi, and produced by Synergy Films.
It follows a pharmacist doctor (Played by Sabri), who falls in love with a criminal (Sultan) who decides to repent, and together with his friend (Suka), faces many situations that turn the course of events upside down.

Karara, born on October 10, 1977, is an Egyptian actor and broadcaster. He has a degree in tourism from Cairo University.
He rose to fame through hosting television contest shows like “Star Maker” and “The Deal”.
Moreover, he played in the national volleyball team, in a lot of national and international games.
Karara is known for his roles in TV series “Shabab Al Hawa” (Guys Online), “Lahazat Hariga” (The Egyptian version of ER), “Taraf Talit” (Third Party) “Taht El Ard” (Underground), and “kalabsh” trilogy.
