Amir Karara Confirms Sequel to "Casablanca"

Egyptian actor Amir Karara confirmed on Instagram that there will be a sequel to his 2019 film "Casablanca".

Karara shared a scene from the film and captioned: "Soon".

The first part of "Casablanca" was written by Hisham Hilal, directed by Peter Mimi, and produced by Synergy Films and Walid Mansour.

It also starred Ghada Adel, Amr Abdel Gelil, Eyad Nassar, Lebleba, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Ahmed Dash, and Ahmed Fahmy.

The plot revolved around three Alexandrian men who work as pirates. They get involved in a dangerous mission against mafia men, after robbing a large diamond shipment, but things get a turn for the worse as one of them decides to go rogue and flee to Morocco.

"Casablanca" was shot in Marrakech, Casablanca, Safaga, and Alexandria.

Karara will also appear in a new TV series titled “Omar al-Naji”.

“Omar al-Naji”, consists of 8 action-packed episodes, will debut online on “WATCH IT” digital platform.

The series also stars Abbas Abu Al-Hassan, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and others.

Amir Karara participated last Ramadan with TV series “Nasl Al-Agrab”, starring Ahmed El Sakka.
