Egyptian stars Amina Khalil and Mohamed Mamdouh will collaborate in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon with TV series "Khali Balek Min ZiZi".
They will begin filming their scenes in the coming days. The series is written by Mariam Naoum and directed by Karim El Shennawy.
"Khali Balek Min ZiZi" marks the fourth collaboration between Khalil and Mamdouh, after TV series "La Totfe' Al Shams", "Qabeel", and the movie "Al Khalia".
Mamdouh is also set to participate in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon with TV series “Takato Torok” (crossroads) starring Mona Zaki.
It also stars Mohamed Farag, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed El-Tajy, Mayan El-Sayed, Hanan Youssef, and others.
The series addresses the issue of infidelity. It is written and directed by Tamer Mohsen.
Khalil's latest artistic work is TV series “Leh la” (Why not), which marks her first leading role in a TV series.
She was set to participate in the Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with the series, which was slated to be screened during the second half of Ramadan, but the production was suspended to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, and its creators failed to catch up with the shooting schedule due to lack of time.
“Leh La” also stars Sherine Reda, Hala Sedki, Hany Adel, Omar Al Saeed, Sherine, Mohsen Mohy El-Din, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, and others.
The TV series is written by Mariam Naoum and directed by Mariam Abou Ouf.
