Czech Ambassador in Cairo Jan Fulík informed Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled El Anany that his country would resume its tourist flights to Egypt as of October 1.

Fulík's remarks came during his tour with Anany and another 29 foreign ambassadors in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The decision was a result of Anany's visit to Prague in August and his discussions with the officials there, the ambassador pointed out.

Flights will be operated from Prague to Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and Marsa Alam, he added.

Meanwhile, the minister appreciated the Foreign Ministry's efforts in this regard.
