"Al Mhkam" Film Release Date Postponed

The release date of Egyptian actress Ghada Adel's new film "Al Mhkam" (The Court) was postponed from its September 1 date to the New Year film marathon.

“Al Mhkam” is written by Ahmed Abdullah and directed by Mohamed Amin.

It also stars Mahmoud Abdel-Moghny, Sabrien, Salah Abdallah, Jamila Awad, Naglaa Badr, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Ahmed Dash, Mayan El Sayed, Suleiman Eid, and others.

The film had wrapped production last month.

Adel is also set to star in TV series "The Eight" starting Khaled El Sawy and Asser Yassin.

The series is the first production to be written by Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, which is directed by Ahmed Medhat and produced by the MBC group.

She will also be seen in the highly-anticipated film “Ahl al-Kahf”.

It also stars Khaled El Nabawy, Mahmoud Hamida, Mohamed Farag, Amr Abdel Gelil, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Moustafa, Sabry Fawaz, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, Hager Ahmed, Maged El Masry, and others.

It is based on Tawfik el-Hakim’s novel “Ahl al-Kahf”, written by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Amr Arafa.

The film is set to be released in the cinemas during the Eid al-Fitr movie marathon.
