Tonight, thousands of fans gathered inside King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh to watch what could be a final dance on the same field between today's football top giants Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The friendly game will take place between Paris-Saint Germain and Saudi All-Star or Riyadh Season Stars.
It is the first face-to-face meeting between Messi and Ronaldo since December 2020 when Juventus defeated Barcelona 3-0 in a Champions League fixture.
The Riyadh- 22-man squad comprises the best of talents from two of the top Saudi teams: Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
Early this week, Cristiano Ronaldo was named the captain of the Saudi team for his Saudi debut after signing with Al Nassr in December.
Former Brazil international Luiz Gustavo and Salem Al-Dawsari, who scored Saudi Arabia's historic winning goal against Argentina in the 2022 World Cup, were named among the participants.

Regarding PSG, Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi could join Neymar and Messi in the front three.
Messi is also expected to headline the Paris-based team.
