The Fustat Hills Park is the largest park in the Middle East, covering an area of 500 feddans. It is designed to be a central recreational hub and to promote religious and cultural tourism.
The park is comprised of 88% green spaces and includes the Al-Hafaer Hill district in Fustat. It also features the Qasaba area, a 3-star hotel, an artificial lake, agricultural areas, and parking facilities. Additionally, there will be a market area with 19 commercial stores and buildings dedicated to traditional crafts such as carpets, pottery, glass, and copper.
Al-Hafaer Hill will host Islamic and archaeological exhibitions, restaurants, a theater, and an entertainment area for children. The Qasaba area will offer a cinema complex, terraces, cycling and pedestrian paths, and a square for events and retail shops.
The park aims to redefine urban spaces in Cairo's historic heartland by incorporating diverse elements to enhance functionality and utility.
