Today, Wednesday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived in Italy in an official 3-day visit, at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella.

The Algerian presidency had confirmed, in a statement, that this visit is of particular importance in strengthening the bonds of historical friendship, and strengthening bilateral relations in many fields, especially the economic aspect, in addition to pushing forward dialogue and strategic cooperation between the "neighboring countries."

It is noteworthy that the economic relations between Algeria and Italy have witnessed a remarkable development in recent years, thanks to investment projects and economic agreements signed between the two countries, which allowed Algeria to be the first economic partner for Italy in the African continent, and in the Middle East.
