Carlos Alcaraz claimed the men’s singles title at the Cincinnati Open after Jannik Sinner retired early in the final due to illness.

Trailing 5–0 in the first set, Sinner ended his run just 23 minutes into the match, handing Alcaraz the victory and marking his eighth Masters 1000 crown and 22nd career title.

Alcaraz immediately showed respect, apologizing to Sinner and praising his resilience.

Regarding the women's competitions, Iga Swiatek emerged victorious in the women’s singles, defeating Jasmine Paolini in straight sets, 7–5, 6–4.

This secured her 11th WTA 1000 title and reaffirmed her dominance by winning the tournament without dropping a set.

In men’s doubles, the pair Nikola Mektić and Rajeev Ram took home the trophy after overcoming Lorenzo Musetti and Lorenzo Sonego in a dramatic final (4–6, 6–3, [10–5]). This marked their first-ever Masters 1000 title as a team.

The women’s doubles crown went to Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe, who defeated Guo Hanyu and Alexandra Panova comfortably, 6–4, 6–3
