On Wednesday, Zamalek players Mostafa Shalaby, Nabil Emad “Dunga” and the team's football director Abdel-Wahed Al-Sayed will be detained until October 29 following a fist-fight at Al Zamalek's game against Pyramids at the Egyptian Super Cup.
The decision was pronounced by the court in UAE as they were refered to urgent trial on Tuesday.
The decision was taken after the members of Al Zamalek team attended the investigation via video conference.
Al Zamalek's trio were detained for a night at a police station on Monday to be presented to the prosecution on Tuesday morning despite paying the fine.
UAE authorities decided to fine Al Zamalek's players and official an amount of AED 650,000 for attacking one of the organizers of the Egyptian Super Cup tournament during the semi-final fixture between Zamalek and Pyramids on Sunday.
