Al Zamalek Held to Goalless Draw against Sudan's Al Marikh in CAF Champions League

On Friday, Al Zamalek's game against Sudan's Al Marikh set in a goalless draw to fail in scoring another win on their African road.

The game was the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage, and with this draw, Al Zamalek were put in a hard situation among the teams of their group.

Currently, Al Zamalek are in the bottom of the group, alongside Sudan's Al Marikh.

In 15, Al Marikh threatened the net of the Egyptian team several times, until the defense of Al Zamalek restricted the presence of the Sudanese team before the net.

In 40, the Sudanese team were close to get the first goal, but the ball hit the bar.

In 55, Al Zamalek's goalkeeper Mohamed Awad prevented the hardest threat to the net for Al Marikh.

On the other hand, Al Marikh stopped the efforts of Al Zamalek to hit the net in 70, and in less than 8 minutes, Awad captured the goal to keep his sheet clean for this game.
