The former Zamalek player Ibrahim Sheka was transferred to the intensive care unit at the Air Force Hospital following a deterioration in his health due to cancer.
In a video posted on Sheka’s TikTok account, his wife revealed that his condition had worsened, preventing him from spending the first day of Ramadan at home. She urged everyone to pray for him.
Sheka’s wife, Heba El-Turky, previously stated in a televised interview that Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi followed up her husband’s condition and recommended his care in the hospital.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly player Emam Ashour visited Sheka at his home to check on him, offer support, and boost his morale.
