Al Zamalek SC secured their place in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 0–0 draw against CR Belouizdad at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the semi-final.

The Egyptian side advanced thanks to their 1–0 victory in the first leg.

Al Zamalek will now await the winner of the other semi-final between USM Alger and Olympic Safi.

CR Belouizdad started the first half with greater control in midfield but failed to create clear chances against goalkeeper Mahdi Soliman.

Al Zamalek gradually grew into the game after the opening minutes.

In the 25th minute, Oday Dabbagh appeared to give Zamalek the lead with a header from a set-piece delivered by Ahmed Fattouh.

However, the goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review. Dabbagh was also shown a yellow card for his celebration.

In the second half, CR Belouizdad increased their pressure and created a clear scoring opportunity but failed to convert.

Al Zamalek responded with a chance of their own before the Algerian side resumed their attacking efforts.

Al Zamalek made several substitutions in the 77th minute, introducing Adam Kaied and Mohamed Ibrahim in place of Omar Gaber and Abdallah El Said.

Mahdi Soliman produced a crucial save in the 81st minute to deny a certain goal, helping Zamalek maintain their aggregate lead. Further substitutions followed as the team focused on preserving their advantage until the final whistle.

With this result, Al  Zamalek move one step closer to continental glory as they prepare for the final showdown.
