The former Pyramids FC owner Turki Al-Sheikh invited the Egyptian National team to play against either Brazil or Argentina in Saudi Arabia.

"I would like to invite the Egyptian National team to play a friendly game against either Brazil or Argentine in Riyadh," the current Spanish club Almeria owner said on his official Facebook page.

" If the EFA agrees to do so, we will invite all the Egyptians to attend the game," Al-Sheikh added.

The Pharaohs are scheduled to clash with Botswana on Monday, October 14, as they prepare to kick off their adventure in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers against Kenya on November 11.

The seven-time African champions were picked in Group G alongside Kenya, Togo, and Comoros. 48 teams pided into 12 groups of 4 teams and the top two sides from each group will earn a ticket to the 2021 showpiece tournament in Cameroon.

Noteworthy, the Egyptian Football Association appointed on Thursday, September 19 Hossam El Badry as new head coach, succeeding Javier Aguirre.

Aguirre was sacked by the former EFA board of directors following the Pharaohs’ exit from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after they suffered a shocking defeat by South Africa 0-1 at Cairo Stadium.

The EFA held a press conference on Thursday to present El Badry, who expressed his happiness over his new post. ” Today, I  have achieved my dream by leading the Egyptian national team, and it is a great honor for me to be the Pharaohs coach,” the 59-year-old said.
