Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have reportedly reached an agreement with Benfica over the loan transfer of Colombian striker Jhon Durán during the current summer transfer window.
According to Saudi newspaper Al Riyadiyah, the Portuguese club will sign the 22-year-old on a season-long loan that includes an option to buy permanently at the end of the deal.
The report states that Al Nassr will continue to pay $2 million of Durán's salary, while Benfica will cover the remaining $10 million, bringing the striker's total annual wages to $12 million during the loan spell.
If Benfica activate the purchase clause, they will pay €30 million to Al Nassr. The Saudi club will also retain a percentage of any future resale fee, according to the report.
Durán joined Al Nassr in January 2025 from Aston Villa in a deal valued at around €77 million, according to Transfermarkt. He remains under contract with the Saudi club until the summer of 2030.
Despite scoring 12 goals in 18 appearances, the Colombian international reportedly struggled to fully adapt to life at Al Nassr, prompting the club to approve a temporary move to Portugal.
The striker has previously spent time on loan with Fenerbahçe in Turkey and Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia before his move to the Saudi Pro League.
Benfica are expected to complete the deal in the coming days as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026–27 season.
