Egypt's Al Masry demolished Enugu Rangers with four unanswered goals in the Confederation Cup Group stage.

Al Masry started the game so fiercely as early as after only five minutes when Austin Amutu had given his side the lead, after he received a well-played pass from Muftah Taktak, before firing a powerful shot.

The Green Eagles' goalkeeper Ahmed Masoud was brought into action for the first time in the game as his save denied Kelvin Idoya's shot in the 20th minute.

Ahmed Yasser cemented his side's lead in the 27th minute, through unleashing a powerful shot from the outside of the box, hitting Rangers' net.

Taktak broke once more on Rangers in the 60th, when he curled a shot from the inside of the box to net the third.

Hassan Ali confirmed Al Masry's well-deserved victory in the 83rd, when he unleashed a left-foot shot from the outside of the box, past Rangers' keeper.

Three minutes later, Izki Shinsoso scored Rangers' first goal in the game, before Saido Sombre's late own goal in the 91st minute.

Al Masry now attain Group A leadership with 6 points after achieving two consecutive victories. They qualified to the Group Stage after smashing Côte d’Or with six unanswered goals on aggregate.
