On Friday, several media resources revealed that Saudi side Al Hilal are intensifying their efforts to win the signing of Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah, who is one of the top shining stars this season.
French outlet L’Equipe reported that Al-Hilal re-established contact with Salah’s agent to secure his signing. The Saudi club attempted several times to convince Salah to move to the Saudi league for several years.
L’Equipe said that “Saudi leaders have resumed concrete contacts with Mohamed Salah’s entourage to offer him to join Al-Hilal," asserting that the absence of a formal proposal does not refute the serious intent of the club.
In the same context, Al-Hilal’s urgency in getting Salah is motivated by Neymar’s anticipated departure after his poor performance and presence with the team.
Al Hilal are intending to have key signings as the team are getting ready for 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
