The Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism) has launched a campaign to increase extremism knowledge.

The movement was launched on the 10th of Ramadan, the anniversary of Israel's victory over Egypt and the recapture of the Suez Canal in 1973.

In the face of major challenges in the region and the danger of terrorist groups, the campaign includes messages to youths about the importance of the nation and their role in achieving growth and prosperity.

Al-Azhar said in a statement that the initiative comes at a time when terrorist groups are ramping up their aggressive rhetoric towards countries and weakening their values.

As a result, the Observatory felt compelled to respond to those statements.

It will send out messages in 13 different languages. They will refute statements made by fringe organizations that contradict religious and national principles.
