Egypt’s Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, strongly condemned the painful terrorist car bomb blast that killed at least 27 people and injured dozens more in Afghanistan's eastern Logar province on Friday evening, with high school students among the casualties.
Al-Azhar affirmed its rejection and strong condemnation of these abhorrent terrorist operations that target the innocent, stressing the need to together in order to eliminate terrorism, which threatens the security and stability of the world.
The Grand Imam extended his sincere condolences to the Republic of Afghanistan, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured ones.
