The Al-Arish International Airport in Egypt recently received a Kuwaiti aid plane, a gesture meant to provide humanitarian support to the beleaguered Gaza Strip.

This initiative forms part of Kuwait's ongoing efforts to deliver critical supplies to Palestinians during times of conflict.

As reported by Cairo-based news channel Al Qahera, the airport welcomed two humanitarian aid planes from Kuwait and Iraq on October 23, 2023, which were set to be dispatched to the Gaza Strip.

The aid included various medical supplies, ambulances, and essential needs, reflecting the urgent healthcare and logistical necessities demanded by the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

This isn't the first time Kuwaiti aid planes have landed in Al-Arish with relief supplies.

On October 24, 2023, a second Kuwaiti plane arrived, carrying 10 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, including medical and food supplies.

Then, on October 25, 2023, a third Kuwaiti Gaza relief aid plane landed carrying 40 tons of urgent humanitarian aid and medical supplies.

Kuwait's committed humanitarian response showcases its active role in extending aid to the Palestinians amid the ongoing turmoil in the region.

By channeling aid through Egypt’s Al-Arish International Airport, Kuwait is not only providing essential relief but also strengthening the collaborative efforts between nations in the Middle East to alleviate the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
