El Arish International Airport in Egypt’s North Sinai received a new humanitarian aid flight from the United Arab Emirates on Friday, carrying 100 tons of food supplies and relief materials destined for civilians in the Gaza Strip.

According to an airport official, the shipment included essential food items, medical supplies, medicines, and a range of humanitarian relief materials aimed at addressing the urgent needs of Gaza’s population.

The delivery forms part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian air bridge to support the enclave.

The aid was offloaded upon arrival and transported by trucks to logistical warehouses in the city of El Arish, in preparation for its entry into Gaza. The process is being coordinated with the Egyptian Red Crescent to ensure timely and efficient distribution.

This latest shipment comes in cooperation with the Emirates International Aid Agency and the Emirates Red Crescent, as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” a sustained initiative reflecting regional solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Since the outbreak of the Israel-Gaza War, Al-Arish Airport has become a critical humanitarian hub. A total of 1,069 aid aircraft have landed there, delivering more than 27,000 tons of relief supplies from 59 countries, as well as regional and international organizations.
