Al Ahly SC Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz announced Tuesday that the Red team’s veteran play maker Walid Soliman will be out for at least four weeks after sustaining an injury.

Abdelhafiz added that the medical scan that Soliman underwent Monday revealed that the player has a hamstring injury.

As a result, Soliman won’t be able to participate with the Red Devils in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held at the start of next month, according to Al Ahly official website.

Soliman will perform a special recovery program under the supervision of Al Ahly’s medical staff in order to return back and participate in the team’s training sessions as soon as possible.

Walid Soliman picked a hamstring injury and was substituted in Al Ahly’s last game in the Premier league against the National Bank of Egypt SC.
