Al Ahly's head coach René Weiler has potentially made up his mind on the Red Devils' line up for tonight's CAF Champions League clash against Etoile du Sahel.
The Red Devils are set to host the Tunisian side in the fifth round of the group stage as they have no choice except securing the victory to keep their hope in reaching the quarter-final alive.
Weiler could begin the game with the Red Devils' new signing Mahmoud Kahraba instead of Junior Ajayi.
The potential Line-up is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy
Defenders: Ali Maâloul, Ramy Rabia, Ayman Ashraf, Mohamed Hany
Midfielders: Aliou Dieng, Amr El Solia, Hussein El Shahat, Mohamed Magdy “Afsha,” Junior Ajayi or Kahraba
Forwards: Marwan Mohsen
The Red Devils were drawn in Group B, alongside Platinum (Zimbabwe), Al-Hilal (Sudan), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia).
Etoile du Sahel are not at the top of the group with ten points, followed by Al Hilal (2nd) with nine points and Al Ahly (3rd) with seven points, while Platinum occupy the last spot.
The eight-time African champions kicked their adventure in the group stage with a 0-1 defeat from Etoile du Sahel, while they snatched a 2-1 victory over Sudan’s Al Hilal in the second round.
They defeated Platinum with two unanswered goals in the third round, before holding a 1-1 draw with the Zimbabwean side in the fourth round.
