Egypt's Al Ahly new signing Ahmed Ramadan Beckham tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.

The Red Devils' new player signed a five-year-deal with the Egyptian League champions on Monday.

Amir Tawfik, the club’s contracts director, announced Monday that the Red Castle has signed Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, former Wadi Degla player, for the next five years.

After coordinating with Al Ahly’s Chairman Mahmoud Al Khatib, Tawfik completed all administrative procedures for completing the contract.

On his part, Beckham expressed his happiness to return again to the Red Castle, stressing that playing for Al Ahly again is a “great honor.”

“Al-Ahly is my home, and when I left the Red Castle two seasons ago, my dream was to return again, and thank God this dream came true,” he said.

“I fought to return to Al-Ahly,” Beckham added. “Things were not as easy as some expected. Returning was a dream and I fought fiercly to achieve it, because returning to Al Ahly was not only my dream, but it was my entire family’s dream.
