As the South African renowned football coach and AL Ahly’s manager turns 57 today, Pitso Mosimane proved to be more than just a genius and smart African head coach. He has had glorious spells with Mamelodi Sundowns FC and the South Africa National team.
To wish him on his special day, his fans and players took to social media platforms and shared many photos of “The South African Legend” with him.
In the same context, CAF sent birthday greetings to Mosimane, who has been named the CAFCL manager of the season for 2020/2021.
CAF wrote: ”Happy Birthday to the South African Legend and AL-Ahly’s manager Pitso Mosimane.”
The three-time Champions League-winning coach was born on July 26, 1964, in South Africa.
Commonly known as Mosimane, he is the former coach and player of the Bafana team best known as the former manager for Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns.
During his successful career, Mosimane won many titles and trophies including, the 2016 CAF Champions League with Mamelodi Sundowns after defeating Egypt‘s Zamalek 3–1 on aggregate, five ABSA Premiership titles with the African side, and two CAF Champions League titles with Egypt’s AlAhly.
