On Friday, Al Ahly Coach Marcel Koller provided several updates about the team amid tomorrow's game against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Al Ahly need the victory to revive their hopes of advancing to the knockouts, after losing Al Hilal game, and having a drew with the South African team in Cairo last month.

Shortly, they managed to capture a huge victory over Coton Sport as they beat them 3-0.

Now, Al Ahly are in third place in Group B with four points, after Sundowns and Al Hilal.

Koller responded: “It will be a difficult game,” Koller said in the press conference. “I think the result of our first meeting [2-2 draw] was disappointing for me and my staff, and that’s why we are motivated for tomorrow’s game."

He added: “But we showed that we were a strong match for them and we are confident we can get a positive result.

“All players are ready for the game, and we will talk about the formation and team selection after today’s training session."

The Cairo-based team will face the South Africans, tomorrow, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, in Pretoria, South Africa.
