The first teams of Al Ahly SC and Zamalek SC underwent a medical swab, Wednesday morning, under the supervision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in preparation for Friday's CAF Champions League final clash.

Al Ahly team underwent the medical examination in the presence of the trio Mahmoud Abdel Moneim "Kahraba", Saleh Gomaa and Walid Soliman, who tested positive for Covid-19 days ago.

Malian Ahly player Aliou Dieng did not participate in the team's training Tuesday, however he was present for the Red team swab.

On the other hand, Zamalek team members underwent the medical examination in the presence of team defender Mahmoud Hamdi "Al Winsh", who had recently been infected with the Coronavirus.

It is worth mentioning that the Red Devils qualified for the CAF Champions League final after overthrowing Moroccan Wydad with an aggregate score of 5-1.

Meanwhile, the White Knights reached the final round after defeating Morocco's Raja Casablanca with an aggregate score of 4-1.

It is set for both teams' medical examination results to be announced later Wednesday.
