Al Ahly SC are preparing for a crucial clash against Espérance Sportive de Tunis tonight at Stade Olympique de Radès in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League.
The first leg between Al Ahly and Esperance will kick off at 11:00 pm Cairo time on Sunday in Tunisia.
The return leg will be played at Cairo International Stadium next Saturday, March 21, at 9:00 pm Cairo time.
The match will be held without fans after a sanction from the Confederation of African Football against Al Ahly supporters following incidents during the group stage match against AS FAR Rabat.
Al Ahly’s squad for the trip to Tunisia includes: Mohamed El Shenawy, Achraf Bencharki, Mostafa Shobeir, Youssef Belaamri, Siha, Hadi Riyad, Hamza Alaa, Emam Ashour, Ahmed Ramadan Bekham, Aliou Dieng, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Ahmed Eid, Yasser Ibrahim, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Amr El Gezar, Kamouish, Marwan Othman, Mohamed Sherif, Taher Mohamed Taher, Mohamed Shokry, Mohamed Hany, Marwan Attia, Ahmed Nabil Koka and Hussein El Shahat.
The match is expected to be a fierce encounter between two of Africa’s most successful clubs as they battle for a place in the semifinals.
