Al Ahly Officially Sign Soufiane Benjdida on Three-Year Deal

Al Ahly have officially announced the signing of Moroccan striker Soufiane Benjdida from Maghreb de Fès on a three-year contract.

Essam Serag El-Din, Al Ahly’s head of recruitment, travelled to Morocco to complete the financial and administrative procedures in coordination with football director Wael Gomaa.

Al Ahly thanked Maghreb de Fès and its president, Omar Bennis, for their cooperation in completing the transfer, praising the strong relationship between the Egyptian club and its Moroccan counterpart.

Born in 2001, the 24-year-old forward stands 1.78 metres tall and primarily plays as a centre-forward. His market value has recently risen to an estimated €2.2 million.

Benjdida began his career in Raja Casablanca’s youth system before moving to Belgian side Standard Liège. He later returned to Morocco to join Maghreb de Fès.
