Al Ahly board of directors mourned on Sunday the death of the former CAF Secretary-General Amr Fahmy, who passed away at the age of 37.
Fahmy, who was appointed as CAF secretary-general in 2017, before being sacked in 2019, passed away after a long battle with illness.
On the Red Devils' official Twitter page, Al Ahly president Mahmoud El-Khatib was keen on sending condolences to Mostafa Morad Fahmy, a member of Al Ahly board of directors after his son's death.

It is worth mentioning that Fahmy was looking forward to running for the CAF president.
