Al Ahly Holds First Training Session Preparing for Sonidep Clash (Photos)

Al Ahly SC held their first training session, Monday, in preparation for the clash against the Niger champion Sonidep in the first leg of the round of 32 in the CAF Champions League, scheduled for Wednesday.

The Red Devils delegation arrived in Niamey, the capital of Niger, on Sunday evening, and the first training session for the team began at 17:30 CLT Monday.

During the training session, Al Ahly assistant manager, Cavin Johnson, was keen to lecture the players and to explain a number of technical and tactical issues related to the match, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of their opponent.

Johnson is leading the red team technically in their Sonidep encounter, due to the absence of Pitso Mosimane who contracted Corona virus days ago.
