Today, the Al Ahly First Football team will have their first training session in Dar Es Salaam to prepare for the upcoming game against the Tanzanian Simba next Friday.
The game is part of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The delegation of the Egyptian team headed to Tanzania early Wednesday for their match against Simba.
Early March, Egypt's Al Ahly defeated the Tanzanian Young Africans 1-0 in the final round of the CAF Champions group stage.
Al Ahly's Hussein El Shahat scored the game's only goal in the first minute in the second half to lead the title holders to the top spot of their group.
This goal was the fifth for Al Shahat in the Champions League.
The Defending champions finished the group stage unbeaten with 12 points, followed by Tanzania's Young Africans.
Young Africans will join Ahly in the quarter-finals.
Ahly will be making a 21st appearance in the Champions League knockouts since the format of the competition was changed in 1997.
