The Al-Ahly first football team delegation departed Cairo International Airport on Wednesday evening, en route to the United States to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, which will run from June 14 to July 13, with 32 teams participating for the first time in history.
The delegation is scheduled to spend a transit period at Dubai Airport in the United Arab Emirates before continuing on to Miami.
Al Ahly is in Group A of the Club World Cup, along with Inter Miami of the United States, Porto of Portugal, and Palmeiras of Brazil.
The team's camp will begin upon arrival, and will include a friendly match on June 8 against Mexican club Pachuca, in preparation for their match against American club Inter Miami in the opening match of the Club World Cup.
