Al Ahly Announce Starting XI for USM Alger Contest

Al Ahly's Swiss Coach Marcel Koller announced the starting XI for the contest against USM Alger, tonight, for the CAF Super Cup.

The announced squad consists of:

Ramy Rabia, Mohamed Abdel Miniem, Mohamed Hany, Ali Maaloul

Emam Ashour, Aliou Dieng, Marwan Attia, Reda Selim, Kahraba

Al Ahly hope to capture its 9th CAF Super Cup title, on the other hand, the Algerian soldiers dream of holding their first-ever continental title.

The Confederation of the African Football will perform a moment of silence at all its football matches, starting from the CAF Super Cup 2023, to honor the victims who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya.

The CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe said in an official statement: “On behalf of the Football Federations representing the 54 countries that are Members of CAF, we once more express our deep condolences to the families, the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football, the Libyan Football Federation, the Governments and the people of Morocco and Libya for the thousands of people who lost their lives during the catastrophic earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya."
