They managed to pull off their second consecutive win against Rangers with two clean goals, before crushing them in matcday four 7-0.
The match, which saw Egyptian star Mohamed Salah came off bench to net the fastest hat-trick in the history of the UEFA Champions League.
On the other hand, Ajax had a brilliant start to their adventure in the competition after defeating Rangers 4-0, before being defeated by Liverpool 1-2 in gameweek two.
The Netherlands' champions bid their farewell from the tournament after inflecting a 1-6 loss to leaders Napoli, before being beat by the Italian club in gameweek four 4-2.
